Yee Haa, my babies are born today, all 25 of them.  My books arrived yesterday but I didn't have the money needed for the birth, COD for customs, hehe. The mail man promised to bring the box of The Wild Ones books back today and I had the cash ready and waiting for the birthing.  I took the first 6 books out for the gifts I promised family. The rest are going to the church Sunday.
A reminder that I'm launching The Wild Ones at Unity In Action Church on the corner of Edinburgh and 17 Street.  Church service starts at 11 AM.

Now I'm waiting for another baby, hehe, I just ordered another set of books that will come in about the middle of November.  Now I should have enough for my book signing and to give the ones away that I have already said I would give  away.  I wrote this The Wild Ones for myself but if more people like it great and I hope they do enjoy it.
I am enjoying my Wednesday night square dancing at the Burnaby Lake rowing club.  A friend and I started the first Wednesday in Sept. and we are both enjoying it.
I know this has nothing to do with The Wild Ones but it is jusdt a blog to let you know what I am doing. besides waiting.  Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine.  Great even if it does cause fog but when the fog is burned off it is bright and sunny.

The Wild Ones

Oh this waiting is hard.  I know my books are on the road but I have another 10 to15 days to wait for the real thing.  Yes I've had the proof book in my hands and read it through and made corrections but now the real thing is about to happen.  Then I will see on the 3 and 17 and 20 just how it is liked and then I will let out the link to the amazon page where others who don't come to the signing can get a copy.  The weekend of the 3 of November I will open the page  on Amazon.  I have put the link on facebook but even I can't find it now. Oh well that is okay and it will be out soon

Tuesday Oct 8, where has the year gone?
In another month I will have had one of my book signings and will know how The Wild Ones is liked.  Right now I am just sitting on pins and needles waiting.  Waiting, waiting, that is the hardest thing to do when you want something so bad.  I can't think of any of the other writings I've got going.
I'm sure Martin Hughes is just grinding his teeth waiting for me to come back and let him tell me where he wants his story to go. I started his story from a prompt and then he took it over.  Now we are in the middle of it and I'm not sure where we are taking it but I'm sure he will tell me soon.  I know he deserves as much attention as The Wild Ones.  Okay I will spend some time with him this week.  I promise I will open his manuscript by Thursday.  Okay?

Waiting is hard.  Someone said that waiting for a book to come out is like waiting for a baby.  Oh how right they are.  I've edited my proof book now am waiting for the publication of the Wild Ones to be ready to purchase.  I have about 5 I am giving to my important people.  Two are my grandsons and the nephew who gave me the money to purchase my copies.  Love you all.
Will be sure to let everyone know when The Wild Ones is ready to purchase.
